The GREATEST Good Design Now On RedBubble

There are a few Disney movie lines that our family comes back to over and over again. This line from the Incredibles is one of them. I absolutely love it every time! If you are unfamiliar with it, I have provided a clip at the end of this post for your viewing pleasure. My husband and I love the domestic struggles of these superhero families! The folks at Pixar absolutely nail it. You know this is the stuff that goes down in their houses all the time. It certainly is the stuff that goes down around the cottage!

This design is featured here on a brand new RedBubble product, the drawstring bag! This is a perfect pack for you park days, or, if like us you are already gearing up for going back to school, this would be ideal for that too! Don't Be Such A Guppy Design in RedBubble Shop

So I have to be honest, The Little Mermaid was never going to be my princess. I'm not sure what it is, but she just doesn't resonate with me the way Merida and Rapunzel do. Maybe Ariel was just too love-struck for my taste. Or maybe I just wasn't a love-struck teen when this movie premiered. Who knows?

Nevertheless, this little gem of a design is one of my favorites! It is, perhaps, Ariel's best advice. Ever. And sometimes, we just need a little reminder not to be so timid! It worked for Flounder, mostly.

As usual, you can find this design in my Redouble shop, on a myriad of products; I am especially in love with the baby and kid-sized shirts! I also think this one is rather well suited to the tech products as well. Who couldn't use a daily reminder to be braver?

The Great Emelius Browne Design Now On RedBubble

As my regular readers know, I am a long time Disney fan. I grew up watching all the movies on VHS and we wore some of them so thin that the movies actually wobbled when we watched them! Bedknobs and Broomsticks was one that we loved to watch. As an homage to that great Disney classic I have created this Emelius Browne design for the RedBubble shop!

If you are familiar with the movie, you will remember that Emelius Browne loves to hawk his wears with a portable stand. This is a reproduction of the sign that hangs on his table! I love the fascination that Disney seemed to have with hucksters and snake oil salesmen. Don't forget DocTerminus in Pete's Dragon and The Apple Dumpling Gang! I suppose it was a fascination of a certain time, and the appeal of a semi-hero from unlikely beginnings. Or at least the reforming of a man. Disney was certainly the eternal optimist!

It's A Small World Subway Art Now Available from RedBubble!

I use the Timehop app and enjoy seeing the various pictures of my family through the year. I've been reminded as such, that it was two years ago that I put together our It's A Small World kids room! Wow! I made a really great poster of Subway Art Greetings but didn't know how to make it available to my readers. Until now!

I realized that RedBubble is the perfect platform to sell that work, and you can even put it on other products as well! Of course you can get the poster for as little as $13.00! But I will be looking at the iPhone cases and the studio pouches for my personal use!

Shark Bait Finding Nemo Inspired T-shirt in RedBubble Shop

And because you just can't have enough Shark Bait designs, I give you my latest t-shirt design: Shark Bait Hoo Ha Ha!

I know, I know, Nemo, Nemo, Nemo. But I couldn't resist this one. How adorable would this be for your Disney friend's little one?? I think It's awesome. But this design just didn't translate as well to the other products, so this one is exclusively for t-shirts.

After a long spring break hiatus I am finally back to the blog! Ireland was amazing, but it's time to think Disney again!

I love just the Incredibles and Edna Mode is inspired! No one but Brad Bird could pull of such a great character voice. Pixar is just full of surprises! This is perhaps Edna's best known quote, "I never look back darling; it distracts from the now!" And now you can wear it with pride!

WALL-E Design Now Available In My RedBubble Shop!

I'm on a roll with new RedBubble designs this month! WALL-E is such a lovable little robot. If you've never seen this movie (which I would find highly suspect!) you must add it to your watch list immediately. The message is wonderful, and timely,  and I love it every time my kids choose this one. (And there's the added bonus of not making me weep!)

I've been fascinated by the eyes of my favorite Disney characters lately and this seems to be influencing my designs lately. WALL-E's eyes are the most expressive part about him and I cannot get enough. He's so curious and generous. And he makes others open their eyes to what is around them as well.

We are all about the Incredibles around here. We like to think we can relate to their family. You know, family squabbles that involve disappearing kids, running like mad around the house and reaching as far as you can to grab that last wiggly kid. If I could have one superpower, I might just choose being as flexible as Elastigirl! I've always had a soft spot for her, and I especially love her quote in the opening sequence of the Incredibles. They are filming a documentary and Elastigirl says, "Leave saving the world to the men? I don't think so." Preach it sister!

In honor of all the Helen Parr's out there (Elastigirl's secret identity), I have designed an Elastigirl T-shirt for you to wear on those days you need a little reminder of just how super you are. It's been a while since I added a new design to the RedBubble shop! This design occurred to me as we were watching Tangled on one of our snow days this past week.

I have to confess, Flynn Rider is my favorite Prince! A little cocky, a  little rogue, a lot hunky, plenty of wit, and absolutely transparent to Rapunzel! I love that guy! And his insistence that he doesn't do backstory is just too funny. I had to make a t-shirt.

I was inspired to create this design when my littles started calling one another Googly Bear. It was so cute and I immediately knew I needed to design something for my RedBubble store!

Disney Inspired Bedknobs and Broomsticks Design on RedBubble!

Bedknobs and Broomsticks is, perhaps, one of the lesser known Disney staples, but when I was growing up and VCRs were all the rage (ahem!), this video was a go to for our family movie nights. It was magical, had cheeky kids and a really nice (NOT green) witch, incorporated a little history and a lot of fun music to dance to; what's not to love?

Those of us who grew up watching this Disney classic will no doubt remember Mrs. Price and her famous incantation for Substitutiary Locomotion! During our last round of road trips this summer, Pixar's Up became one of the favored videos. It's funny what you pick up when you are just listening to the videos in the car (in the front seats). Mr. Photos From The Parks and I began to recite Russell's introduction to Carl each time it came on. And this idea for a T-shirt materialized right there on I-70!
